I know that this one might sound – a little, well, different. And, I was also extremely unsure of it at first.

But the more I thought about it, I realized that it’s a lot like variations of tuna that someone might have made and just eaten from a plate or bowl. They make have eaten it with crackers – or perhaps just a fork. Except now, this tuna mixture is being placed inside a bun.

Tuna Dogs

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 5 oz cans of tuna
  • ½ Cup American cheese, diced or shredded
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 2 Tbsp pickle relish
  • ½ Cup salad dressing

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250°
  • Drain tuna.
  • Mix together all ingredients, save buns
  • Spoon into each hot dog bun
  • Wrap buns in wax paper
  • Place on cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes
  • Serve!
