I know that this one might sound – a little, well, different. And, I was also extremely unsure of it at first.
But the more I thought about it, I realized that it’s a lot like variations of tuna that someone might have made and just eaten from a plate or bowl. They make have eaten it with crackers – or perhaps just a fork. Except now, this tuna mixture is being placed inside a bun.

- 2 5 oz cans of tuna
- ½ Cup American cheese, diced or shredded
- 8 hot dog buns
- 2 Tbsp pickle relish
- ½ Cup salad dressing
- Preheat oven to 250°
- Drain tuna.
- Mix together all ingredients, save buns
- Spoon into each hot dog bun
- Wrap buns in wax paper
- Place on cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes
