How to Make Rhubarb Crunch
Ingredients
Rhubarb Mix
- 4 Cup rhubarb, washed and diced
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
Crunch
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 1 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 large egg
Topping
- ⅓ Cup butter, melted
Optional
- Whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- In large bowl, mix together sugar, rhubarb, and salt
- Place in bottom of 8x11 baking dish
Crunch
- In large bowl, mix together sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and egg
- Dollop and then spread over the rhubarb mixture
- Melt butter and sprinkle over crunch mixture
- Bake 45 minutes, then allow to cool
- (Optional) Top with whipped cream to serve
