I would normally call this type of cake a Dump Cake. Dumping all ingredients together, giving it a quick mix, and then baking.
This one needs a bit more mixing – but reminds me of a dump cake very much.
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Enjoy and Happy baking! 💋
Simple, quick, and delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ C sifted flour
- 3 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 C sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 C cold water
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 5 Tbsp salad oil*
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients
- Pour into an ungreased 9x13 baking pan
- Bake at 350° for approximately 35 minutes
Notes
*Salad oil is just a broad term for any oil used in salad dressings. This can be sunflower oil, canola oil, peanut oil, or light olive oils. You can use the oil you have on hand, which seems to be a vegetable, canola, or peanut oil for most people.
