Cheesecake can be an intimidating dish to prepare. But it’s so much fun to make, and eat! Don’t let simple questions keep you from making this amazing dessert.

Can I put warm cheesecake in the fridge?

No. You should not put a warm cheesecake into the refrigerator. A cheesecake should be allowed to cool before it is placed in the refrigerator – because – a warm item placed into a cool space, causes condensation.

Placing a warm cheesecake in a cool refrigerator will make it soggy and lose flavor.

You will also slightly raise the temperature inside of your refrigerator when you place warm items inside. This can affect all other items in your refrigerator and cause your refrigerator to work overtime to cool down again.
