Brown Sugar Meringue
- 2 egg whites
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ Cup nuts, chopped
- Beat egg whites until frothy
- Beat in the brown sugar and lemon juice until stiff
- Spread on cake immediately
- Sprinkle chopped nuts over meringue
- Bake approximately 10 minutes at 400° to brown meringue
