This was delicious! I might have enjoyed adding more butter to the recipe – but that’s one of my biggest problems in life, always wanting to add more butter!

How to Make Baked Tilapia

Baked Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 tilapia fillets
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 large lemon juiced
  • 1 large lemon sliced
  • parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400℉
  • Rinse fish, pat try
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, place in 9x13 pan
  • Set side
  • Over a medium heat, in a large skillet, heat oil then add butter, thyme, garlic, pepper, and paprika. Stir
  • Add chicken stock, and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • Pour butter sauce over tilapia fillets
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes. Adjust timing for size of fillets. Fish will flake easily with fork when cooked
  • Sprinkle parsley over top and serve with slices of lemon on the side
