Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit
In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until all sugar has dissolved
Stir in pecans
In a separate bowl, combine cake mix, butter, water, sour cream, and eggs with a mixer or whisk until smooth
Prepare a 10-inch bundt pan with butter, oil, or spray
Pour sugar and pecan mixture into bundt pan
Pour cake batter over the pecans
Spread evenly
Bake approximately 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Remove from oven, and place on a rack to cool
Do not flp pan until cooled at least 10 minutes
Place a serving plate or cutting board on top of bundt pan, and flip pan over - allowing cake to slide out onto the plate or board
To loosen pecans, tapping the bottom of the bundt pan may help
