How to Make Maple Country Ham and Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 center-slice smoked ham fully cooked
  • 1 small cabbage chopped coarsely
  • 3 medium cooking apples washed cored and cut into wedges
  • 1/4 Cup butter
  • 4 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Over a medium heat, in an extra-large skillet, melt butter then add salt and cabbage.
  • Mix together and cook until cabbage is tender but still crisp. Approximately 5 minutes.
  • In a 9x13 baking pan, place cabbage on bottom and then line ham slices over top.
  • Place apple slices into the ham and cabbage.
  • Drizzle maple syrup over everything.
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes at 350°F degrees.
  • Ham should be at 145°F and apples should be tender.
